Position: Senior Project Manager, Food and Drug Administration (FDA)

Prometheus Federal Services (PFS) is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager with extensive experience in FDA consulting. In this role, you will engage closely with FDA agency clients to facilitate the planning and execution of significant strategic and organizational transformation projects. Your collaboration with client leadership will be essential in establishing expectations for deliverables, guiding the development of work products, and ensuring high-quality outcomes from our analyst teams. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in managing high-profile and enterprise-level projects within the FDA context.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and oversee all facets of contract operational support, managing complex interrelated project tasks and teams across various locations.
  • Provide strategic direction for project activities and maintain effective communication with senior client stakeholders.
  • Consult with both customer and contractor personnel to develop and review task plans and deliverables, ensuring alignment with project schedules, costs, and contractual obligations.
  • Generate and maintain comprehensive technical and financial reports to track project progress, assign responsibilities, and ensure successful task completion.
  • Create client briefing documents, reports, and presentations to communicate project status and insights.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Health Systems Administration, or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • A minimum of fifteen (15) years of experience in management consulting.
  • 3-5 years of experience supporting FDA initiatives.
  • Proven ability to navigate and collaborate across multiple dynamic organizations, aligning all stakeholders towards a common mission.
  • Experience in organizing diverse teams of senior leaders and clients, adapting to shifting demands and managing rapid changes effectively.
  • Strong capability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while engaging with various stakeholders during critical periods.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and SharePoint.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and resolve issues proactively, preventing escalation when possible.
  • Authorized to work in the U.S. indefinitely without sponsorship and capable of obtaining a public trust.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
