About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Service Advisor to join our team at Secor Auto Center. As a Service Advisor, you will play a critical role in ensuring our customers have a memorable experience and develop a loyal customer base.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Interaction: Interact daily with customers, Service Advisors, Technicians, Parts Associates, Cashiers, Sales Associates, and Managers to provide exceptional customer service.
  • Service Review: Meet with customers to review services owed from the point of purchase of their vehicle and ensure a seamless experience.
  • Relationship Building: Increase customer satisfaction by building strong relationships and providing personalized service.
  • Quality Control: Maintain the company's standards for ethical business practices, professional image, orderliness, customer service, and employee and community relations.
  • Progress Updates: Monitor the progress of each vehicle throughout the day and update customers frequently to ensure transparency and trust.
  • Profitability: Increase profitability by maximizing sales and executing retail promotions to drive business growth.
  • Team Leadership: Oversee the technician working on customer vehicles, including time management, efficiency, part ordering, and job completion times.
  • Procedure Development: Participate in the development and documentation of standard operating procedures as appropriate.
  • Communication: Explain all work completed to customers in a clear and concise manner.
Requirements
  • Accredited Training: Accredited training in service advisor skills, customer satisfaction, and quality control.
  • Experience: Minimum 1-year automotive service advisor experience.
  • Automotive Knowledge: Basic automotive knowledge to effectively communicate with customers and technicians.
  • Time Management: Ability to effectively manage time to meet and exceed targets.
  • Team Player: A strong desire to succeed and a team player who is focused on providing exemplary customer service.
  • Work Environment: Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Driver's License: Possess a valid in-state driver's license and an acceptable driving record.
  • Drug Test: Must be able to pass a standard 9-panel drug test which does not include THC.
