Senior Executive Assistant

Position Overview:
Join Schechter Reed, a dynamic investment firm focused on technology, as an Executive Assistant. This role offers a unique chance to collaborate with influential leaders in the technology investment sector. The position is remote until the office is fully operational, at which point a hybrid work model will be implemented.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily office operations and ensure smooth functioning.
- Manage intricate calendars, making independent decisions based on priorities and time zone considerations.
- Plan and coordinate comprehensive domestic and international travel arrangements, including transportation, accommodations, and necessary documentation.
- Review and reconcile expenses related to executive business and personal accounts.
- Establish and maintain an expense tracking system for various organizational entities.
- Perform administrative tasks such as answering calls, transcribing messages, and preparing documents.
- Supervise the management of multiple properties, collaborating with local vendors and overseeing expenses.
- Facilitate approved charitable contributions and manage related paperwork.
- Assist with financial transactions, ensuring proper authorization is obtained.
- Support accountants across multiple entities as required.
- Contribute to portfolio company initiatives as needed.
- Lead special projects as assigned.
Essential Qualifications:
Experience: A minimum of 3-5 years in a similar role is preferred. Proficiency in MS Office suite and experience working with high-net-worth individuals is essential. The ideal candidate should be self-driven and thrive in a flexible, unsupervised environment.
Education: A Bachelor’s degree is required.
Organizational Skills: Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks effectively and adapt to changing priorities with sound judgment.
Communication Skills: Excellent listening and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and diplomatically.
Problem Solving: Proven capability to process information quickly and make informed recommendations, particularly in logistical planning.
Leadership: A strong work ethic and commitment to achieving results, with the flexibility to work extended hours when necessary.
