About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our North America Sales team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining business relationships in your assigned region, driving sales growth, and working closely with our global peers to leverage best practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and develop business relationships with distributors, contractors, architects, and specifiers
  • Work within the regional team to hit and overachieve regional sales targets
  • Identify and build relationships with key strategic distributors, managing merchandising and product training staff
  • Present technical information and solutions to architects and contractors, and support negotiation where appropriate
  • Work with Lead Generation, Internal Sales, and Projects teams to optimize regional sales
  • Conduct annual reviews and planning with distributors and customers
  • Continually develop industry knowledge, regulations, and product knowledge
  • Work with marketing to maximize potential and gain market insight
  • Complete weekly KPI reports
Your Background and Experience

We are looking for a candidate with previous experience in face-to-face selling and presenting, preferably in the building product industry. You should have a sales target and customer-centric driven approach, with practical knowledge and understanding of construction processes. You should be able to build relationships with clients, have an open and honest attitude, and be willing to learn and develop.
