Business Development Manager

Ryder System is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team. As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for developing new customer business within your assigned sales territory.
Key Responsibilities- Develop pre-sales strategy for target accounts and create a sales activity pipeline to meet and exceed required quota revenues.
- Represent the full spectrum of Ryder's services to new and potential customers, and work with Account Representatives and Customer Development Managers to transition accounts and increase sales opportunities.
- Identify prospect needs and value components through quality needs assessment and value-based proposal preparation.
- Develop account selling strategies to improve effectiveness and contribute to an effective transition of accounts sold.
- Report sales activity to management and perform other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree in Business and/or Finance and Accounting or equivalent field.
- Five (5) years or more demonstrated consecutive sales excellence in prior sales responsibilities.
- Good understanding of Ryder's product offerings and ability to interpret financial data.
