Key Responsibilities

The DON SAP IT Engineering and Cyber Security Program is a comprehensive initiative that spans five years, featuring a base period and four optional extensions. This program focuses on delivering engineering, integration, and cyber support to enhance the design, development, and testing of advanced services aligned with the customer's IT enterprise architecture. We are looking for a Senior SharePoint Developer to join our team, who will take on the following responsibilities:
  • Design, customize, and troubleshoot workflows to automate business processes, as well as develop websites, web parts, forms, lists, libraries, and other custom applications using various programming languages such as PowerShell, JavaScript, CSS, Microsoft .NET, and HTML.
  • Administer, configure, design, maintain, upgrade, and resolve issues within the SharePoint environment, specifically for MS SharePoint versions 2016 and 2019.
  • Systematically update metadata terms as needed and create forms to efficiently capture and store information in compliance with established regulations and guidelines.
  • Execute SharePoint customization, integration, and upgrades across engineering, testing, and production environments, adhering to Configuration Management, Change Management, and Security protocols.
  • Provide recommendations and carry out installations of new major releases, product updates, hot fixes, and service packs, testing these recommendations as necessary.
  • Customize and implement tools and functionalities, including Dashboards, Websites, Employee Libraries, and Reports for SharePoint.
  • Oversee the Managed File Share (MFS) in accordance with approved Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Qualifications
  • A minimum of 12 years of experience with a BS/BA degree, 10 years with an MS/MA, or 7 years with a PhD.
  • Possession of an active TS/SCI clearance is required.
  • A minimum of five (5) years of experience in SharePoint Server engineering is essential.
  • Demonstrated expertise in workflow design, website design, web part design, and list/library engineering, along with debugging capabilities using various programming languages (PowerShell, JavaScript, CSS, HTML).
  • Current ITIL Foundations certification is mandatory.

Compensation Range

The typical salary range for this position is between $146,000 and $234,000, reflecting the expected compensation based on experience and other relevant factors.
