We are in search of a proficient Senior SharePoint Consultant to enhance our technical writing vendor team for a leading technology client. This role entails spearheading the design and integration of internal SharePoint platforms that support various products and applications utilized by global data center operations.

Key Responsibilities:

SharePoint Development (Essential):

  • Design and sustain SharePoint sites and applications that facilitate internal processes and client initiatives.
  • Tailor SharePoint pages and templates to align with business needs and improve user engagement.
  • Offer technical assistance to end-users of SharePoint platforms and applications.
  • Remain updated with the latest advancements and best practices in technical writing and SharePoint development.

Technical Documentation (Essential):

  • Evaluate technical documents, including user guides, system documentation, and training resources to ensure uniform design, structure, and formatting.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to collect technical data and convert it into clear, concise, and effective documentation.
  • Enhance user experience by soliciting feedback and collaborating with the engineering team to implement improvements.

Project Management (Desirable):

  • Possess experience in managing business stakeholder relationships as the primary resource for our vendor team. In addition to executing your own tasks, you will assist in leading and fostering success within a team of four other resources.
  • Facilitate daily and weekly standup meetings.
  • Provide reporting and tracking of deliverables on behalf of the vendor team.
  • Collect and share feedback to improve team performance and vice versa.
  • Offer additional support as necessary to ensure success across the team and with key stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Technical Writing, or a related discipline.
  • 5+ years of experience in technical writing and SharePoint development.
  • Demonstrated expertise in developing and maintaining SharePoint sites and applications.
  • In-depth knowledge of SharePoint architecture and development best practices.
  • Familiarity with SharePoint Designer, InfoPath, and Visual Studio.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading abilities.
  • Strong attention to detail and capability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
  • Outstanding communication and collaboration skills.
