Key Responsibilities

The DON SAP IT Engineering and Cyber Security Program is a comprehensive 5-year initiative that encompasses a base period and four optional years, aimed at delivering engineering, integration, and cyber support essential for the design, development, and testing of innovative services in alignment with the customer's IT enterprise architecture. We are looking for a Senior SharePoint Developer to contribute onsite in Washington D.C., who will be tasked with the following:
  • Designing, customizing, and troubleshooting workflows to automate business processes, as well as developing websites, web parts, forms, lists/libraries, and other bespoke applications and tools utilizing various programming languages such as PowerShell, JavaScript, CSS, Microsoft .NET, and HTML.
  • Administering, configuring, designing, maintaining, upgrading, and resolving issues within the SharePoint environment (MS SharePoint versions 2016/2019).
  • Systematically updating metadata terms as necessary and creating forms to effectively capture and store information in compliance with established regulations and guidelines.
  • Executing SharePoint customizations, integrations, and upgrades within engineering, testing, and production environments in accordance with Configuration Management, Change Management, and Security protocols.
  • Recommending and installing new major releases, product updates, hot fixes, and service packs, as well as testing these installations as required.
  • Customizing and implementing tools and functionalities, including Dashboards, Websites, Employee Libraries, and Reports for SharePoint.
  • Maintaining Managed File Share (MFS) in accordance with approved Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Qualifications
  • A minimum of 12 years of experience with a BS/BA, 10 years with an MS/MA, or 7 years with a PhD.
  • An active TS/SCI clearance is required.
  • At least five (5) years of experience in SharePoint Server engineering.
  • Demonstrated expertise in workflow design, website design, web part design, and list/library engineering, along with debugging skills using various programming languages (PowerShell, JavaScript, CSS, HTML).
  • Current ITIL Foundations certification is mandatory.

Salary Range

$146,000 - $234,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
