Position Overview

Business Technology Integrators (BTI) is in search of a Senior SharePoint Administrator to manage both on-premises and O365 environments while spearheading systems engineering initiatives within a significant Department of Energy (DOE) project. This position emphasizes IT services, facilitating migration to the Intelligence Community (IC) information sharing framework, and providing technical assistance for DOE and the United States Intelligence Community (USIC).

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage with stakeholders to collect and analyze requirements.
  • Deliver SharePoint support and training to users.
  • Construct sites utilizing standard tools.
  • Oversee content databases and user access permissions.
  • Revise existing site interfaces for improved usability.
  • Generate and uphold documentation for SharePoint policies and practices.
  • Assist in content migration efforts.
  • Install, configure, and upgrade SharePoint systems as needed.
  • Ensure system security and operational stability.
  • Design and implement SharePoint infrastructure solutions.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot the SharePoint environment effectively.
  • Collaborate with fellow IT professionals to address and resolve issues.
  • Manage custom workflows and facilitate SharePoint development.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree is mandatory.
  • Over 10 years of experience as a technical architect.
  • Active Top Secret clearance is essential.
  • Proficient technical experience with Microsoft stack technologies.
  • Experience in managing SharePoint Farms.
  • Exceptional troubleshooting capabilities.
  • Ability to navigate and resolve complex problems.
  • Familiarity with change management processes.
  • Experience with migrations to SharePoint Online.
  • Knowledge of migration tools such as Sharegate.
  • Basic understanding of virtualization, networking, and system integration.
