Position Overview

In the role of Investment Operations Associate, you will play a pivotal role in the operational framework of our business, overseeing a wide array of tasks essential for our success. This position requires you to take charge of key functions, ensuring seamless operations while fostering and maintaining vital client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and facilitate trade settlements, portfolio reconciliations, and cash management, ensuring precision and promptness in all transactions. Assist in the onboarding process for new accounts, including gathering necessary documentation.
  • Compile comprehensive financial reports and materials for client review sessions. Conduct performance evaluations and generate client statements, offering clear insights to support strategic decision-making.
  • Identify and address inefficiencies in operational workflows, implementing innovative solutions to optimize processes and enhance overall performance. Proactively recognize service opportunities for existing clients and manage the execution of these initiatives.
  • Act as a primary contact for clients and partners, addressing inquiries and resolving service requests or issues related to insurance and investment products, variable annuities, and financial offerings.
  • Take charge of various projects, ranging from system enhancements to new process implementations. Assist in the development and enhancement of marketing initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies. Implement risk management strategies to protect operational integrity.
  • Support additional projects and administrative tasks as required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related discipline.
  • Possession of Series 6 & 63, Series 7, Life & Health Insurance licenses.
  • 5+ years of experience in investment operations or a comparable role, with a robust understanding of investment products, insurance, and operational processes.
  • Comfortable collaborating within a small team of fewer than 10 individuals while managing a diverse range of tasks.
