Job Overview:


As an Embedded Hardware Engineer, your expertise will be pivotal in the design, development, testing, and execution of embedded hardware systems.

You will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, including software engineers, firmware developers, and product managers, to deliver dependable and efficient hardware solutions.


Key Responsibilities:

Design and Development:
• Create and develop embedded hardware systems, encompassing schematic capture, PCB layout, and component selection.
• Work in tandem with firmware and software teams to ensure the smooth integration of hardware and software components.
• Develop and uphold hardware specifications, requirements, and documentation.
• Proficient in C, C++, and .NET programming languages.

Prototyping and Testing:
• Construct and evaluate prototypes of embedded hardware designs to validate performance and functionality.
• Execute hardware debugging and troubleshooting to pinpoint and resolve issues.
• Conduct signal integrity analysis, power integrity analysis, and other hardware validation methodologies.

Optimization and Improvement:
• Enhance hardware designs for performance, cost-effectiveness, and energy efficiency.
• Identify opportunities for improvement in existing hardware systems and propose innovative solutions.
• Stay informed about the latest advancements in embedded hardware technologies and incorporate relevant innovations into product development.

Collaboration and Communication:
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to align hardware development with overall product objectives and timelines.
• Provide technical assistance to manufacturing teams during the production and testing of hardware components.
• Effectively communicate progress, challenges, and solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Over 3 years of experience in embedded hardware design and development.
• Proficient in schematic capture and PCB layout tools (e.g., Altium Designer, OrCAD, etc.).
• Strong grasp of embedded systems, microcontrollers, and digital/analog circuit design.
• Familiarity with signal integrity, power integrity, and EMI/EMC considerations.
• Ability to function effectively in a team environment and articulate technical concepts clearly.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in low-power hardware design.
• Familiarity with embedded software development.
