Job Summary

Raytheon is seeking a highly skilled System Security Engineering (SSE) Anti-Tamper (AT) professional to join our team. As a key member of our SSE team, you will be responsible for the execution of AT programs, serving as a direct interface during critical reviews, briefings, and technical exchanges. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring the program-level chief engineers and architectures support the program's needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement SSE AT solutions into RTX products, ensuring the highest level of security and integrity.
  • Collaborate with customers to define SSE AT requirements, solutions, trades, costs, implementation, system impacts, and effectiveness.
  • Support the development of plans and estimates, task execution, project tracking, reporting, and risk identification and mitigation plans.
  • Plan and guide SSE AT implementations in customer systems, ensuring seamless integration and minimal disruption.
  • Consult and assist program line management with SSE AT architectures and issues, providing expert guidance and recommendations.
  • Conduct attack threat modeling and Critical Program Information Assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities and develop effective mitigation strategies.
  • Develop top-level system requirements and flow down requirements and implementation concepts to subsystems, ensuring alignment with customer needs.
  • Ensure compliance with DoD technology release and export licensing policies, maintaining the highest level of security and integrity.
  • Validate secure configuration of routers, switches, firewalls, servers, operating systems, applications, and other assets, using DoD-approved scanning and assessment tools.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and 5 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and 3 years of prior relevant experience.
  • Experience in System Security Engineering, computer technology reverse engineering, Anti-Tamper, cybersecurity, or embedded security.
  • Experience designing, implementing, testing, and fielding real-time embedded security-oriented solutions on Department of Defense (DoD) programs with secure systems technologies, methodologies, policies, and guidelines.
  • Experience generating security (anti-tamper and/or program protection) requirements, design and architecture artifacts, plans, and/or policies.
  • Active and transferable U.S. government-issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
  • The ability to obtain and maintain additional program access as required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in design, development, and fielding of SSE systems.
  • Software, Firmware, & Microelectronics Engineering, Cryptography, and FPGA design.
  • Attack threat modeling / Critical Program Information Assessments.
  • Experience in the implementation and business growth of SSE implementation throughout the entire life cycle.
  • Experience in solutions meeting robust SSE systems security requirements.
  • Advanced Degree in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Mechanics, Computer Science, Engineering Science, Business Administration, and/or Robotics.
  • DoD Top Secret clearance with current SSBI within last 5 years desired.
  • Cyber Certifications in accordance with DoDD 8570/DoDD 8140 such as CISSP, GSLC, CEH.
  • Program management experience with SSE.
  • Broad understanding of technology and working knowledge of DODI-S.
  • Aircraft/weapons integration experience.
  • Strategic planning and proposal writing skills.
  • Candidate must exhibit an exceptional degree of ingenuity, creativity, and resourcefulness.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact positively with coworkers, suppliers, stakeholders, and customers in a team environment.
  • Experience contributing in a team environment for the purpose of developing creative solutions to technical problems.
