Job Overview:


As an Embedded Hardware Engineer, you will be instrumental in the design, development, testing, and deployment of embedded hardware systems.

Your collaboration with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, firmware developers, and product managers, will be vital in delivering dependable and efficient hardware solutions.


Key Responsibilities:

Design and Development:
Craft and develop embedded hardware systems, encompassing schematic capture, PCB layout, and component selection.

Work in tandem with firmware and software teams to ensure the smooth integration of hardware and software components.

Establish and maintain hardware specifications, requirements, and documentation.

Experience with C, C++, and .NET is essential.

Prototyping and Testing:
Create and evaluate prototypes of embedded hardware designs to confirm performance and functionality.

Conduct hardware debugging and troubleshooting to pinpoint and resolve issues.

Implement signal integrity analysis, power integrity analysis, and other hardware validation techniques.

Optimization and Improvement:
Enhance hardware designs for performance, cost-effectiveness, and power efficiency.

Identify opportunities for improvement in existing hardware systems and propose innovative solutions.

Stay informed about the latest advancements in embedded hardware technologies and incorporate relevant innovations into product development.

Collaboration and Communication:
Engage closely with cross-functional teams to align hardware development with overall product objectives and timelines.

Provide technical support to manufacturing teams during the production and testing of hardware components.

Effectively communicate progress, challenges, and solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.

A minimum of 3 years of experience in embedded hardware design and development.

Proficiency in schematic capture and PCB layout tools (e.g., Altium Designer, OrCAD, etc.).

A strong understanding of embedded systems, microcontrollers, and digital/analog circuit design.

Familiarity with signal integrity, power integrity, and EMI/EMC considerations.

Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment and communicate technical concepts clearly.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in low-power hardware design.

Familiarity with embedded software development.
