Job Summary

As the Human Resources & Recruiting Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting our HR team, particularly with recruiting efforts. Reporting to the Human Resources Director, you will assist with hiring, onboarding, and general HR tasks. We seek an individual with a sales-oriented mindset who can effectively promote our company and get excited about the mission-critical industry. This position involves significant interaction with candidates and may require travel.

Key Responsibilities
  • Recruiting Support: Assist with drafting job descriptions, posting roles on our ATS, reviewing applications, scheduling interviews, and conducting initial candidate phone screens.
  • Onboarding: Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires to ensure a smooth transition.
  • Event Participation: Attend conferences, networking events, and career fairs to identify and attract top talent.
  • Database Management: Maintain and update the candidate database, conducting periodic check-ins to cultivate potential future hires.
  • Project Assistance: Complete various projects as assigned by the HR Director and local office leaders.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree required.
  • Experience: Previous human resources, sales or administrative experience is preferred, demonstrating adaptability and a quick learning ability.
  • Skills: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to establish and maintain effective relationships. Detail-oriented, self-motivated, enthusiastic, and flexible.
  • Professionalism: Ability to interact professionally in diverse business and social settings.
