Job Title: Registered Nurse - Transplant

Mass General Brigham is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Transplant team in Brighton, MA.

About the Role:

The Lung Transplant Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring patients' continuity of care in all phases of lung transplantation. This includes coordinating all aspects of the transplant process, providing patient education, and maintaining comprehensive documentation in patient medical records.

Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate patient assessments, pre-transplant care, and post-transplant care
  • Understand and implement pre and post-transplant protocols
  • Provide and maintain accurate documentation in patient medical records
  • Participate in research activities and publish results
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory bodies and maintain quality and performance improvement standards
  • Assist with educational presentations and information for transplant professionals and the public
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 3 years recent Intensive Care Unit and/or transplant experience
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing or equivalent experience
  • Master's degree in a clinical nursing specialty preferred
  • Current Massachusetts licensure as a registered nurse
