The Clinical Nurse Coordinator Ortho is a registered nurse who provides high-quality patient care and coordinates the delivery of care on the orthopedic unit. This role requires strong communication and leadership skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care and coordinate the delivery of care on the orthopedic unit.
- Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
- Supervise and mentor nursing staff to ensure high-quality patient care and adherence to hospital policies and procedures.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of evidence-based practice guidelines.
- Current licensure in the State of Colorado as a Registered Nurse.
- Current AHA or ARC BLS certification.
- Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing; BSN desirable.
- Two to four years acute care/specialty nursing experience, with one to three years in a charge/supervisory position.
