The Role

We are seeking a Senior Account Executive to join our U.S. Energy and Industrials practice. As a key member of our team, you will support clients in the energy and industrials sectors to ensure they have a license to operate, navigate the corporate landscape, and drive financial growth and sustainability commitments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute media strategies, including strategy development, pitch angle identification, and reporter engagement.
  • Organize and oversee large-scale media monitoring operations with daily and monthly reports to clients.
  • Assist in the development of client messaging and positioning for corporate, product, thought leadership, executive positioning, CSR, and sustainability campaigns.
  • Manage multiple projects for top-tier clients.
  • Develop materials that articulate and promote client initiatives and programs.
  • Generate fresh ideas for programs, events, and media outreach that parallel client objectives.
  • Exercise creativity in account strategy and planning.
  • Coordinate client events and strategic initiatives.
Requirements
  • 3-6 years of public relations experience, preferably in an agency or energy/industrials related PR/communications environment.
  • Strong project management experience, with demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and operate independently and as part of a team.
  • Superb writing and editing skills across a variety of platforms with a keen eye for detail.
  • Media relations expertise and pitching experience, with the ability to establish and grow media relationships.
  • Digital and social media savvy with an understanding of how to reach a target audience and drive engagement.
  • Exceptional time management skills with the ability to juggle multiple projects and work with quality and efficiency.
  • Professionalism, poise, and confidence in client-facing situations.
