We are seeking a highly skilled Airfield Manager to join our team at Intrepid Global Solutions, LLC. As an Airfield Manager, you will be responsible for the overall management of airfield facilities and services to provide a safe, efficient, and effective airfield environment for aircraft operations.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct supervision and management of all personnel working in airfield management.
- Manage the airfield environment to support base, tenant, and transient flying operations.
- Accomplish annual airfield certification and safety inspection, identify non-compliant airfield hazards, and work with the Civil Engineer to submit waiver packages for Wing and AFCENT approval.
- Develop parking plans and perform airfield inspections to ensure safety and compliance with planning and design criteria.
- Plan, organize, and direct airfield activities, including airfield construction/repairs, airfield driving program, ice/snow removal operations, bird/wildlife control, and procurement of information on safe aircraft operation.
- Process domestic and international flight plans and coordinate with base agencies to meet aircrew requirements for billeting, messing, refueling, transportation, and transient aircraft maintenance.
- Graduate of an approved DoD/Advanced Airfield Managers course or equivalent.
- Three (3) years of experience executing AFM duties and responsibilities outlined in 1C7 Career Field Education and Training Plan (CFETP).
- Experience in airport master planning and all airfield management functions, including duties such as airport management and coordination between air-traffic control and maintenance personnel, supervising airfield maintenance and construction projects, generating dispatching, implementing airfield safety procedures, and generating facility duty schedules to support airfield operating hours.
- Coordinating hazardous cargo and live fire device movements, conducting airfield inspections in accordance with AFMAN13-204v2, and implementing airfield safety procedures.
- Documented knowledge or experience with ICAO procedures, experience implementing airfield safety procedures, generating and facilitating airfield flight line drivers' program, managing local flight information publications, and validating and publishing NOTAMs.
- Possess an Air Force Airfield Manager Position certification (i.e. SEI 368).
- Must possess a valid U.S. Driver's License.
- Possess a valid U.S. Passport (preferred).
- Must be able to meet all current USCENTCOM Deployment Policy Requirements, as outlined in the USCENTCOM APR 23 MOD SEVENTEEN TO USCENTCOM INDIVIDUAL AND INDIVIDUAL-UNIT DEPLOYMENT POLICY.
- Able to obtain and maintain a valid Residency Visa for Qatar.
- Must be able to work in extreme environmental conditions, including dust and high temperatures.
- Must be able to endure long hours, exposure to weather, and hazardous conditions.
