- Deliver thorough nutritional care encompassing assessment, Nutrition Diagnosis, execution of a care strategy, counseling, education, and evaluation of results for patients, families, and staff.
- Facilitate various educational initiatives and workshops on nutritional subjects.
- Bachelor's Degree in Dietetics or a related discipline that fulfills the standards of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, obtained through an accredited four-year Baccalaureate program and an advanced training program recognized by the Academy.
- Master's degree or Advanced Practice Certification is preferred.
- Requires a solid understanding of chemistry, physiology, caloric and nutrient values, and the physical characteristics of food, along with knowledge of medical nutrition therapy.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English; comprehend medical terminology; follow both oral and written directives; perform mathematical calculations; and possess strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Requires a high level of interpersonal skills to effectively interact and collaborate with medical, nursing, and other healthcare professionals, as well as patients and their families.
- Registered Dietitian or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist credentialed by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
