Specialist in Communication Development

We are seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant to join our dynamic team at ProCare Therapy.
About the RoleThis full-time position involves working with K-12 students to assist them in developing essential communication skills. You will work under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to implement therapy plans and conduct sessions focused on speech and language development.
Responsibilities- Support the Speech-Language Pathologist in designing and implementing therapy plans tailored to each student's needs.
- Conduct therapy sessions, providing individualized attention to students and adapting techniques as necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress, identifying areas for improvement and adjusting therapy strategies accordingly.
- Collaborate closely with teachers to integrate therapy goals into classroom instruction, enhancing student learning outcomes.
- Foster open communication with families regarding student achievements and progress.
- A Bachelor's degree in Communication Disorders or a related field is mandatory.
- Previous experience working with children in an educational setting is highly desirable.
- Bilingual candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.
- Prior experience as a supervisor is preferred but not required.
