Community Outreach Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Community Outreach Coordinator to join our team at the Greater Lawrence Family Health Center. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about healthcare and community outreach to make a meaningful impact in the lives of residents throughout the Merrimack Valley.
About UsThe Greater Lawrence Family Health Center is a non-profit organization committed to providing high-quality patient care to our community. We have been serving the Merrimack Valley for over 40 years, with a strong focus on family medicine, pediatrics, internal medicine, and geriatrics.
Key Responsibilities- Provide outreach opportunities for community residents who lack access to healthcare and health insurance, assisting them in navigating the enrollment process and ensuring they receive the coverage they need.
- Develop and maintain relationships with local partner organizations, businesses, and community groups to promote health coverage options and build awareness of eligibility criteria.
- Collaborate with our staff and other community outreach specialists to coordinate activities, establish GLFHC as a source of referrals and information, and ensure seamless communication with patients and community members.
- Distribute outreach materials, such as brochures and flyers, to educate patients, community members, and partner organizations about health coverage options and eligibility criteria.
- Host and participate in community events to promote health coverage options and engage with potential patients and community members.
- Bilingual/Bicultural (English/Spanish) required.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in both English and Spanish.
- Experience working with health insurance options and building relationships with community agencies.
- Excellent computer skills and ability to learn new software quickly.
- Bachelor's Degree preferred in a human services field or equivalent experience.
We offer a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $75,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
