Job Summary:

As a key member of Our Team, the Restaurant Manager is responsible for the overall planning and direction of the restaurant's functional activities, including marketing, sales, accounting, and general administration.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Management: Meet monthly and annual budget targets, plan for sales goals, profit projections, capital requirements, and staff needs.
  • Business Development: Review the general business climate and adjust staff and inventory levels as necessary.
  • Reporting and Compliance: Ensure financial reporting is consistent with restaurant standards and produced monthly.
  • Marketing and Promotion: Direct and promote restaurant marketing programs.
  • Staff Management: Directly oversee hiring, performance evaluations, and termination of staff.
  • Inventory and Supply Chain: Directly oversee ordering and delegation of ordering as needed.
  • Scheduling and Communication: Schedule all staff shifts and communicate schedules timely and effectively.
  • Facilities Management: Maintain the facilities of the restaurant to produce high-quality food at the lowest possible cost.
  • Guest Experience: Ensure guests are serviced at the highest level of satisfaction through quality food, courteous employees, and quick response to needs.
  • Food Safety and Sanitation: Ensure food safety and sanitation protocols are followed per company and health department regulations.
  • Reporting and Communication: Report status information to management monthly.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Contract for and follow up on general maintenance and repair to the facility.
  • Additional Responsibilities: Perform other related duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
  • Staff Development: Develop and maintain an effective restaurant through the selection, training, compensation, motivation, termination, and review of all staff.
  • Employee Relations: Develop and maintain a program for sound employee relations with staff at all levels of the organization.
  • Employee Guidance: Provide guidance and direction to employees to assist in their professional development.

Education and Experience:

A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Prior restaurant management experience is helpful.
