Position Summary:
The Sales and Partnerships Manager will play a crucial role in advancing our business by identifying new avenues for growth, fostering and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, and delivering precise project cost assessments. The ideal candidate will have a robust network within the convenience store, quick-service restaurant, and large retail sectors, along with a client pipeline capable of generating $4-5 million in sales during their initial year.
Key Responsibilities:Business Development
- Identify and pursue new business prospects within the convenience store, quick-service restaurant, and large retail sectors.
- Establish and nurture strong relationships with key decision-makers, industry leaders, and potential clients.
- Develop a client pipeline aimed at achieving $4-5 million in sales within the first year.
- Conduct market analysis to identify emerging trends and potential opportunities.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create and implement effective business development strategies.
Cost Estimation
- Prepare detailed and accurate cost assessments for construction projects.
- Review project plans, specifications, and other documentation to develop comprehensive estimates.
- Work closely with project managers, architects, and engineers to ensure precise project costing.
- Analyze historical data and market trends to enhance estimating processes.
- Present estimates to clients and negotiate terms to secure contracts.
Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients to ensure repeat business and referrals.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and promptly address client inquiries and concerns.
- Maintain regular communication with clients to understand their needs and expectations.
- Proven experience in business development within the convenience store, quick-service restaurant, and large retail sectors.
- Established network and connections in the relevant industries.
- Demonstrated ability to generate a client pipeline with significant sales potential.
- Strong cost estimation skills with experience in preparing accurate and detailed assessments for construction projects.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in estimating software and tools.
- Bachelor's degree in business, Construction Management, or a related field (preferred).
- Ability to work on construction sites, including standing, walking, and climbing as necessary.
- Ability to lift and carry materials and equipment as required.
