About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sales and Service Expert to join our team at REI Co-op. As a Sales and Service Expert, you will be the face of the Co-op, interacting with REI Members and Customers daily to provide exceptional sales and service experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Engage in Sales and Service Training: Participate in REI Sales and Service Training to drive sales and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Prepare Store for Sales: Stock, coordinate stocking process, handle merchandise, and adjust visual presentations to inventory levels, new products, and promotions.
  • Monitor Inventory and Pricing: Ensure inventory accuracy, price accuracy, and product stock levels are up-to-date.
  • Train and Mentor New Staff: Provide guidance and support to new staff members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their roles.
  • Partner with Department Managers: Collaborate with Department Managers to achieve sales goals and daily expectations.
Requirements
  • Retail Sales and Customer Service Experience: A minimum of [insert number] years of experience in retail sales and customer service.
