Position Overview:
This role offers a blend of on-site engagement with the option for remote work flexibility.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Financial Management Lead, you will play a pivotal role in assisting Department of Defense clients in fulfilling their Financial Improvement and Audit Remediation (FIAR) goals.

Your responsibilities will include leading discussions and assessments with business process stakeholders, crafting and reviewing Process Cycle Memoranda, and establishing internal controls. You will also support the formulation and execution of Corrective Actions aimed at addressing findings from external audits.

In addition, you will work closely with clients to enhance the effectiveness of their operational and financial management processes, ensuring comprehensive reporting.

The successful candidate will demonstrate:
  • Proven experience in team leadership and development.
  • A strong commitment to client service and relationship building.
  • A history of delivering high-quality results with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Expertise in federal accounting and auditing standards.
  • Familiarity with the DoD Financial Improvement and Remediation (FIAR) program.

Furthermore, you should possess the ability to conduct thorough analyses of accounting processes and transactions, along with providing actionable recommendations for developing Corrective Actions to resolve root causes identified by auditors.


Qualifications:
  • U.S. Citizenship (Required)
  • Relevant certifications such as CPA, CDFM, CGFM, CISA, CISSP (Required)
  • A minimum of 9 years of relevant experience in a related field (Required)
  • Active Secret Clearance or eligibility to obtain one (Required)
  • BA/BS Degree in Business or a related discipline (Required)

Skills:

The ideal candidate will exhibit the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively in a dynamic environment. You should be comfortable working both collaboratively and independently, demonstrating organization, proactivity, and self-motivation.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) is essential, with additional skills in Microsoft Visio being advantageous.

We seek a creative, detail-oriented communicator who excels in both verbal and written interactions, ensuring clarity and accuracy in all communications with clients and team members.

Experience with government accounting systems is preferred.


Preferred Attributes:

Familiarity with DoD and DLA financial management policies and procedures is a plus.
