Position Overview:

The OTR (Off the Road) Sales and Allocation Specialist plays a crucial role in supporting the sales, marketing, and engineering functions within the organization. This position is pivotal in managing daily reporting, maintaining data integrity, and conducting ad hoc analyses to enhance operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Forecast and Allocation Management: Oversee the forecasting and allocation processes for a key product line within a significant Strategic Business Unit (SBU).
  2. Point of Contact: Act as the primary liaison for Demand Planning, Supply Chain Management, Sales & Marketing, and other stakeholders to address customer supply and delivery requirements.
  3. Collaboration: Work closely with the OTR mining manager to align contractual commitments with strategic objectives and supply capabilities.
  4. Long-term Planning: Coordinate comprehensive five-year forecasts, including product transitions and growth targets for key accounts.
  5. Equipment Management: Maintain and monitor all relevant OTR equipment and contracts associated with the product line.

Sales Support:

  1. Develop and maintain reports to monitor lead conversion rates, opportunities, and account activities.
  2. Regularly update and distribute sales tracking reports.
  3. Create and sustain scorecard reporting for sales management.
  4. Provide tailored reporting for the sales management team.
  5. Utilize Tableau for maintaining customer and sales reports.

Administrative Duties:

  1. Prepare and update presentation materials for sales meetings.
  2. Maintain an organized list of key sales personnel.
  3. Update organizational charts for the sales management team.
  4. Ensure the Monthly Collaborative Forecasting tool is current and accurate.

Services and Operations:

  1. Collaborate with sales personnel to ensure accurate reporting of service technician performance.
  2. Distribute productivity reports for service technicians on a daily and monthly basis.
  3. Conduct ad hoc reporting as required.

Qualifications:

A Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field is required, along with a minimum of five years of professional experience in an analytical or similar role. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Tableau, Access, Alteryx, Word, and PowerPoint, is essential.
