Position Overview:

Experience Required: 8-12 Years

Essential Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of expertise in supply and demand forecasting, supplier management, and purchase order oversight, with a solid understanding of ERP planning systems.
  • The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of leading supply chain methodologies, strong analytical skills, effective leadership capabilities, and business acumen.
  • Proficient in communication, persuasion, and negotiation within a matrixed organization, capable of engaging with individuals and groups of varying sizes, including peers and executives.
  • Ability to think strategically while executing operationally, with meticulous attention to detail and comfort in working with numerical data.
  • Experience in fostering cross-functional collaboration to deliver exceptional customer service in a dynamic and complex environment.
  • Proven track record of achieving operational KPIs while managing projects and initiatives, with a strong sense of urgency to meet diverse deadlines.
  • High proficiency in Excel and a quick aptitude for learning technical applications.
  • Familiarity with reporting tools such as Business Objects, Tableau, or similar platforms is advantageous.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement the supply strategy and procure the designated products or materials.
  • Enhance the planning process by executing weekly strategies to mitigate future shortages, ensuring the planning system's master data is current, and initiating engineering change requests based on material lifecycle.
  • Accountable for key performance indicators such as backlog, fill rate, inventory turnover, purchase order price variance, and overdue delivery management.
  • Evaluate projected demand and inventory levels, developing weekly supply plans that align with customer requirements, ensuring targets for fill rates are met while minimizing overall inventory costs.
  • Investigate and address product backlogs and fill rates daily, identifying issues and collaborating with relevant functional teams to implement solutions.
  • Oversee procurement and repair operations, including establishing repair supply chains, expediting purchase orders, optimizing repair cycles, and coordinating with supplier management to ensure supply plans are fulfilled. Address shipping and receiving discrepancies, invoice variances, payment issues, and manage reconciliation of purchase orders with suppliers.
  • Identify potential system enhancements and collaborate with key business stakeholders and IT to facilitate ongoing system improvements.
