Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Logistics Program Manager to join our team at VeeAR Projects Inc. As a key member of our Worldwide Logistics Operations, Global Freight Planning team, you will be responsible for developing, measuring, and analyzing key logistics activities to support our global operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Freight Forecasting: Coordinate and publish the 2-quarter inbound shipment forecast, taking into consideration planned output, packaging characteristics, and carrier commitments, working with planning and logistics stakeholders.
- Capacity Planning: Manage distribution and transportation capacity planning and contingencies for seasonality, new product launches, and sustaining operations.
- Daily Lift Planning: Develop detailed daily lift plans for NPIs, working with regional teams to review available lifts, and plan proactively for incremental lifts as needed to get product landed at the point of sale.
- Supply and Demand Analysis: Evaluate supply and demand changes and their impacts on logistics, partnering closely with WW Supply Demand Management and the Regional logistics team.
- Global Freight Sync: Compile material for the bi-weekly Global Freight Sync and report and present analytical findings to the Manager/Director level.
- Tool Development: Support tool development for logistics, including freight forecasting, logistics cost analysis, wikis, and databases, and be the voice of WW logistics for Capital Project initiatives.
Requirements:
- Education: 5 years of experience in Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or other Supply Chain discipline with a BS/BA degree. An MBA/master's degree is a plus.
- Skills: Expert user skills in MS Excel, project management and/or supply chain certifications, knowledge of SAP, relationship databases, and Six Sigma.
- Additional Requirements: Support supply chain and network modeling/gravity studies, high visibility and interaction with business management customers, ability to demonstrate leadership, and strong analytical, project management, and communication skills.
