Key Responsibilities:

  1. Supply Chain Management: Develop and execute purchase orders based on planning requisitions.
  2. Order Accuracy: Ensure the precision of open purchase orders and confirm all orders with suppliers, securing committed shipping dates.
  3. Performance Metrics: Strive to meet target fill rates, reduce backlog, and facilitate quick recovery from supply disruptions.
  4. Issue Resolution: Maintain daily oversight of unresolved supply challenges, updating systems with the latest delivery commitments.
  5. Supplier Engagement: Expedite deliveries from suppliers as necessary and cultivate relationships with internal teams to effectively manage escalations.
  6. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work alongside Engineering, Planning, Commodity Managers, and OEM suppliers to implement cost-effective supply chain strategies.
  7. Supplier Performance: Partner with the Global Commodity Manager to enhance supplier performance based on key metrics.
  8. Material Management: Collaborate with warehouse teams to address material receipt issues promptly.
  9. Financial Coordination: Work with Accounts Payable and Finance to resolve any invoice and credit processing discrepancies.
  10. Data Maintenance: Keep relevant purchasing information updated within the company’s systems.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in service, planning, asset management, manufacturing, or logistics operations.
  • Background in planning or asset management is preferred.
  • Experience in supply chain management is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with service operations is a plus.
  • APICS CPIM certification or equivalent is beneficial.
  • Proficient in Excel with strong analytical and detail-oriented skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English are essential.
  • Experience in reporting at the executive level is desirable.
