Compensation: $45 to $49 per hour (W2)

Role Duration: Contract position with potential for extension.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate projected demand and inventory levels to create weekly supply strategies that align with customer requirements, aiming to achieve optimal fill rates while minimizing overall inventory expenses.
  • Implement weekly plans effectively to reduce future discrepancies and enhance inventory turnover.
  • Assess and adjust system parameters to maximize inventory efficiency and meet service level objectives while controlling costs.
  • Maintain and refresh ERP master data for planning components across various facilities, including initiating Engineering Change requests as necessary.
  • Investigate and resolve product backlogs and fill rate issues on a daily basis, identifying challenges and collaborating with relevant teams to address them.
  • Coordinate closely with cross-functional teams, including finished goods planning and factory operations, to ensure adequate resources and materials are available to meet supply needs.
  • Participate in regular conference calls with international teams to synchronize supply and demand across regions.
  • Disseminate weekly factory forecasts, ensuring that any discrepancies are communicated and resolved.
  • Identify and recommend enhancements to systems, collaborating with key stakeholders and IT to drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Skills:

  • Exceptional analytical abilities coupled with business insight to make informed operational decisions.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to effectively influence peers and senior management.
  • In-depth knowledge and proven experience in supply chain management principles, including forecasting, demand planning, and inventory optimization.
  • Familiarity with ERP planning systems such as SAP or Oracle.

Qualifications:

  • APICS certification is preferred.
  • A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in business, supply chain management, mathematics, engineering, or logistics.
  • An MBA or Master's Degree in supply chain, logistics, or industrial engineering is advantageous.
  • At least 3 years of experience in forecasting, planning, purchasing, inventory management, or a related field.
  • A proven history of achieving operational KPIs while managing projects and initiatives.
  • Experience in the electronic product service supply chain is a significant advantage.
