Job Overview

Pacific Advisory Service is seeking a highly skilled Technical Account Manager to join our team. As a Technical Account Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and building strong relationships with customers in the semiconductor inspection and metrology equipment industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prospect for new customers and maintain accurate account records in our CRM system.
  • Develop and deliver sales proposals, presentations, and follow-up with key decision-makers.
  • Conduct regular customer meetings and submit meeting reports to ensure timely communication.
  • Manage the entire sales process from initial inquiry to final acceptance and payment, including quote, samples, negotiations, order confirmations, and delivery coordination.
  • Collaborate with our President to review sales activities, customer status, and sales goals.
  • Plan quarterly sales activities with input from our President to achieve sales targets and travel expectations.
  • Support trade show planning, execution, and follow-up with the Account Management team.
Requirements
  • Strong sales planning, forecasting, and strategic account management skills.
  • Product demonstration and group presentation expertise.
  • Negotiation skills with customers and vendors to achieve maximum profit and manage risk.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple accounts and projects simultaneously.
  • Professional demeanor and excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong PC skills, with proficiency in Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and QuickBooks.
  • Technical sales experience and a Bachelor's degree in Business, Material Science, Physics, or a related field.
Additional Requirements
  • Japanese language comprehension, both reading and writing, is required.
  • This is a hybrid position, with 25% travel required.
