Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Coordinator to join our team at Miami University. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our administrative unit, providing exceptional support to our staff, and maintaining the highest level of confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process incoming information and documents, making sound judgments to ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Serve as a valuable resource for staff, investigating and resolving problems and difficulties.
  • Assist in enforcing policies and procedures, providing guidance and support to staff.
  • Monitor and review projects, ensuring all necessary changes are made.
  • Gather and analyze statistical information, producing reports to inform decision-making.
Requirements
  • 9 months of coursework or training beyond high school in Business Administration and 2 years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Knowledge of unit operations, policies, and procedures.
  • Proficiency in computers and office applications.
  • Strong research and reporting skills.
Working Conditions

This role requires the ability to maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion. The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment, with periodic assignments that may involve dealing with modestly unpleasant physical conditions.
