Human Resources Coordinator

The Human Resources Assistant is a key member of the Communicare team, responsible for providing administrative support to the HR department. This role involves a variety of tasks, including recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, and employee relations.
Key Responsibilities- Educate and communicate company policies and procedures to employees.
- Coordinate onboarding processes, including employee handbook distribution and benefit enrollment.
- Manage employee files, including documentation and data collection.
- Coordinate training programs, including Mental Health First Aid and Crisis Prevention Institute.
- Assist with benefits administration, including enrollment and claims resolution.
- Establish and maintain department records and reports.
- Respond to applicant inquiries and process employment applications.
- Assist with workers' compensation claims and maintain accident records.
- Provide information and support to employees on HR-related matters.
- Bachelor's degree in business or related field preferred.
- Previous HR or office management experience preferred.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and ability to learn new software.
The Human Resources Assistant will work in a fast-paced environment, requiring the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively. The role involves working with confidential information and maintaining discretion and confidentiality at all times.
