Job Overview

Oncology Service is seeking a highly motivated and organized Medical Office Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our administrative staff, you will play a vital role in creating a positive and professional first impression for our patients while also providing exceptional support to ensure smooth operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet patients and clients in a warm and welcoming manner, ensuring a positive experience from the outset.
  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls in a prompt and courteous manner, handling inquiries and concerns with professionalism.
  • Manage and maintain a professional and organized reception area, adhering to high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
  • Schedule and confirm appointments, ensuring seamless coordination with our medical professionals.
  • Check patients in and out efficiently, processing paperwork and payments accurately.
  • Perform various administrative tasks as needed, supporting our medical staff to deliver exceptional patient care.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Medical Receptionist or in a similar customer service role, demonstrating strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients, colleagues, and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively, managing multiple responsibilities simultaneously with ease.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, with knowledge of medical software and systems a plus.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • Professional demeanor and appearance, reflecting positively on Oncology Service.
Compensation and Benefits
  • A competitive salary of $45,000 - $60,000 per annum, commensurate with experience.
