Position Overview

The Financial Systems Analyst plays a crucial role in supporting the financial operations of the organization. This position is designed to provide comprehensive support to various stakeholders, including executive management and operational staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver ongoing enterprise-wide assistance to management, staff, consultants, and other personnel as required.
  • Act as a bridge between the Finance department and IT to enhance system reliability and ensure data integrity.
  • Collaborate with external vendors and partners to facilitate financial processes.
  • Support the organization in making informed, data-driven decisions.
  • Offer data and technical solutions, including Excel-based tools, to enhance business operations.
  • Lead or assist in the formulation and evaluation of testing protocols.
  • Advise on the optimization and automation of business workflows to boost productivity and efficiency.
  • Create and manage Microsoft SQL stored procedures, ensuring proper administration and troubleshooting as necessary.
  • Oversee the administration of the Syntellis Axiom Healthcare Suite.
  • Work in partnership with both business and technical teams to refine reporting processes that support strategic decision-making.
  • Based on business needs, manage the creation and modification of:
    • Syntellis Axiom Healthcare Suite reports
    • Oracle FRS reports
    • Oracle FCCS reports
  • Maintain:
    • Oracle EDM and FCCS
    • Axiom Reporting and Budgeting modules
    • Access and security within the Syntellis Axiom Healthcare Suite
    • Accurate statistical data as defined by leadership
  • Provide training on relevant systems and processes as needed.
  • Manage and contribute to ongoing Syntellis Axiom application upgrades, testing, and customization projects.
  • Continuously collaborate with the Finance team to achieve departmental objectives and meet deadlines.
  • Coordinate with vendors and consulting resources to ensure project success.
  • Review and provide feedback on vendor scopes of work.

Qualifications

  • Education: High School Diploma required; Bachelor's Degree or technical training preferred.
  • Experience: 2-5 years preferred.
  • Relevant training from Oracle University is advantageous.
  • Strong knowledge of:
    • Oracle Enterprise Data Management (EDM)
    • Oracle Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)
    • Oracle Financial Consolidation & Close Service (FCCS)
    • Syntellis Axiom Healthcare Software Suite
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to develop and document procedures effectively.
  • Capability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Understanding of data extraction and transformation concepts.
