  • Lead Standard Cost Accounting Reviews: Conduct thorough reviews of materials and finished goods to ensure accuracy and efficiency in our cost accounting processes.
  • Maintain Accurate Inventory Reporting: Play a pivotal role in maintaining accurate and up-to-date inventory reporting, ensuring that our financial records are accurate and reliable.
  • Contribute to Financial Statement Preparation: Collaborate with our financial team to prepare monthly and year-end financial statements, driving our financial success and growth.
  • Perform Balance Sheet Reconciliations: Conduct monthly balance sheet reconciliations, covering bank accounts, inventories, fixed assets, and liabilities, to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Collaborate with External Auditors: Work closely with external auditors to provide essential information and support during audits, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.
  • Innovate and Improve Processes: Evaluate and recommend improvements to our financial processes, policies, and systems, with a focus on SOX compliance and best practices.
  • Organize Cycle Counts and Inventory: Lead cycle counts and annual physical inventory, ensuring precision and accountability in our inventory management.
  • Deliver Insightful Product Margin Reports: Provide detailed and actionable product margin reports and analysis, helping us make informed business decisions.
  • Additional Duties: Take on additional related duties and responsibilities as assigned by management, contributing to our overall success and growth.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance: A degree in accounting or finance is required for this role.
  • Minimum 3 Years of Accounting Experience: A minimum of 3 years of accounting experience in a manufacturing environment is required.
  • Onsite Work Commitment: Willing to commit to working onsite 5 days per week in a team environment.
  • Financial and Cost Accounting Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of financial and cost accounting principles is essential for this role.
  • Process Improvement Experience: Experience in enhancing processes, policies, and systems, particularly related to SOX compliance, is highly valued.
  • Accounting Software Proficiency: Proficient in accounting software and ERP-based financial systems.
  • Organizational and Communication Skills: Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills, are required for this role.
  • Microsoft Office Suite Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
