  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies, Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), and regulatory requirements.
  • Audit Support: Collaborate with internal and external auditors, providing necessary documentation and explanations during audits.
  • Financial Analysis: Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis to support business decisions, such as cost-benefit analysis and profitability assessments.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements within the plant's financial operations, implementing best practices as needed.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or CMA certification preferred).
  • Years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably in a manufacturing or plant environment.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing accounting principles and cost accounting.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of relevant tax regulations and compliance.
