Acts as a resource for broader business units or associates, potentially taking on a leadership role for junior analysts.

This position will collaborate with business stakeholders, other application development teams within IT, as well as various shared services organizations and infrastructure sectors.

The individual will be part of the Treasury IT team, contributing to the ongoing enhancement of investment, cash management, and payment capabilities.

Responsibilities

Data Analysis - Sources, compiles, and interprets data. Conducts advanced data analysis, effectively communicating and directing analysis outcomes. May manage special projects or lead the analytics efforts of the team.

Identifying Requirements - Establishes system requirements and conveys them through specifications, reports, project plans, or other documentation forms. Identifies and resolves complex factors impacting system processes. Ensures compliance through ongoing monitoring and analysis.
Reporting - Facilitates strategic insights into business systems through reports to senior management. Assesses systems based on data analysis, user feedback, and extensive testing. Identifies patterns, issues, and areas for improvement, developing process enhancements based on findings.

System Support - Provides expert technical assistance for systems by addressing inquiries, ensuring processes operate smoothly, and striving to enhance the end-user experience.

Manages escalated and complex support issues. Develops and implements modifications and enhancements. Acts as an analytics resource for the broader organization or business units, offering expertise on systems and data outputs.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree and 6 years of experience in Systems Support, Analytics, or Operational Support OR High School Diploma or GED and 10 years of experience in Systems Support, Analytics, or Operational Support.

Preferred Qualifications


Exceptional analytical and critical thinking abilities, with the capacity to evaluate business requirements to ascertain processing flow, user needs, and interdependencies of multiple information systems.

Strong problem-solving skills with the capability to dissect components to identify root causes.
Ability to work independently, take full accountability, and provide innovative solutions as necessary.
Experience with SDLC and agile methodologies is expected.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; history of active engagement with business partners and stakeholders.

Over 10 years of experience as a business analyst, possessing knowledge in the treasury business area, cash management, and liquidity functions.

Proficient technical skills in SQL (SQL Server) are essential.
Experience in data management projects with a focus on data analysis, governance, quality, and lineage.
Experience in agile and iterative environments, including leading scrum projects as a scrum master and/or product owner.
Experience in implementing UMR (Uncleared Margin Rules) and Basel III is preferred.
Experience in the financial industry, including functional knowledge of financial instruments such as derivatives, FX trades, swaps, caps, and cash.
Familiarity with any of the following is advantageous: Quantum, Swift, Aladdin, Clearwater, Chatham Financials, Pinnacle, QRM.
