About the Role

The Collections Supervisor will oversee a team of professionals responsible for collecting business taxes and enforcing tax laws in accordance with Oklahoma State Laws. This position requires strong leadership abilities, analytical skills, and effective communication to ensure compliance with laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise a team of collections specialists to ensure compliance with laws and regulations
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve collections and enforcement processes
  • Provide technical assistance to management and the general public on tax-related matters
  • Collaborate with the Collections Manager and Administrator to develop strategic goals for the section
  • Review and analyze tax records and business practices to identify areas for improvement
  • Prepare collection reports and recommendations to support business decisions
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree in any field, plus two years of experience in business/public administration, taxation and revenue, credit collections, or investigative work
  • OR six years of experience in business or public administration, highly technical administrative or office management, taxation and revenue, credit collections, or investigative work
  • OR an equivalent combination of education and experience
