Position Overview:

Amerit Fleet Solutions, a prominent name in the Fleet Maintenance sector across the United States, is seeking a skilled Parts Specialist. This role is pivotal in managing the internal parts ordering process. To excel in this position, the candidate must foster and sustain effective, long-term relationships with colleagues while achieving central purchasing goals.

Compensation: $33-36/hr

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all facets of managing and sourcing parts requests.
  • Source parts from various suppliers to ensure optimal availability in a timely manner.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with vendors, internal customers, and team members.
  • Gain familiarity with customer vehicles.
  • Conduct quarterly inventory counts and cycle counts as required.
  • Ensure cleanliness and organization of the parts room as necessary.
  • Support the Parts Coordinator when needed.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a competitive market; prior success in wholesale auto parts sales, particularly in the aftermarket sector, is preferred.
  • Exceptional communication skills: positive, enthusiastic, and attentive tone to ensure comfort during conversations, clear enunciation, and strong listening abilities.
  • Excellent negotiation, interpersonal, and written/verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledgeable and passionate about delivering outstanding customer service.
  • Ability to cultivate and maintain enduring business relationships.
  • ASE certifications in P1 and P2 are preferred.
  • Results-oriented, proactive, and committed to personal and professional growth.
  • Experience with POS systems is a plus.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications, particularly MS Word and Excel.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently to achieve objectives.
  • The role requires an individual with an outgoing and assertive personality, capable of taking initiative, being proactive, and maintaining a positive, can-do attitude.
