Amerit Fleet Solutions, a prominent player in the Fleet Maintenance sector across the United States, is seeking a skilled Parts Specialist. This role is pivotal in overseeing the internal parts ordering process. Success in this position requires the ability to foster and sustain effective, long-term relationships with colleagues while achieving central purchasing goals.
Compensation: $33-36/hr

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and fulfill all aspects of parts requests.
- Source parts from diverse suppliers to ensure optimal availability in a timely manner.
- Establish and nurture relationships with vendors, internal clients, and team members.
- Develop familiarity with customer vehicles.
- Conduct quarterly inventory assessments and cycle counts as required.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within the parts room as necessary.
- Support the Parts Coordinator when needed.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a competitive environment; prior success in wholesale auto parts sales, particularly in the aftermarket sector, is preferred.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with a positive and attentive demeanor.
- Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- A deep commitment to outstanding customer service.
- Proven ability to cultivate and maintain enduring business relationships.
- Preferred ASE certifications in P1 and P2.
- Results-oriented, proactive, and dedicated to professional growth.
- Experience with POS systems is advantageous.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly MS Word and Excel, is preferred.
- Strong time management and organizational capabilities.
- Ability to work independently to achieve objectives.
- A dynamic and assertive personality is essential for taking initiative and maintaining a positive, can-do attitude.
