Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough vehicle inspections and diagnostics to identify necessary repairs in line with company policies.
- Execute repairs and replacements of parts and components as required.
- Perform tire-related services, including rotation, replacement, mounting, and balancing.
- Carry out preventative maintenance tasks such as lubrication, fluid changes, coolant services, oil changes, filter replacements, and brake adjustments.
- Assess vehicles for additional safety or service needs and recommend further actions as necessary.
- Ensure quality repairs by conducting test drives and making adjustments to controls and systems.
- Maintain cleanliness of customer vehicles throughout the repair process.
- Demonstrate physical dexterity and strength to handle large automotive components.
- Communicate effectively with team members and customers.
- Utilize Microsoft Office applications as needed.
- Exhibit a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently in a dynamic environment.
- Manage time efficiently and stay organized.
- Diagnose malfunctions and perform authorized repairs.
- Coordinate with the Parts Department to procure necessary components.
- Inform service advisors of any additional work required or if initial repairs cannot be completed as promised.
- Perform road tests to verify that repairs have resolved customer concerns.
- Conduct quality checks on completed work and document services performed.
- Participate in training sessions and stay updated on factory technical bulletins.
- Minimum of 5 years of technical experience in automotive repair.
- Nissan certification is preferred.
- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Must have a satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report (MVR).
