About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Client Services Coordinator to join our team at Community Medical Services. As a key member of our clinic staff, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet and attend to clients in person and over the phone, providing a warm and welcoming experience.
  • Manage the patient flow of a high volume of clients in a fast-paced environment, ensuring timely and efficient service.
  • Coordinate intakes on a walk-in basis, including assisting clients with completion of required documentation and scheduling with an available provider and counselor.
  • Verify insurance eligibility and set up billing episodes in our electronic health record system.
  • Establish client payment plans and financial contracts, collect and post payments.
  • Ensure confidentiality of all client and employee information, maintaining a secure and respectful environment.
  • Assist in the de-escalation of clients using a trauma-informed approach, providing emotional support and guidance.
  • Triage client issues to secure the most appropriate solution, working collaboratively with our clinical team.
  • Introduce clients to our Recovery Connect engagement app and provide support in navigating its features.
  • Complete end-of-day tasks, including reconciling deposit and payment records, and verifying cash in the cash box.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1+ years of experience in customer service, preferably in a healthcare or front desk setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
  • Basic computer knowledge, including proficiency in electronic health records and Microsoft Office products.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment, with a willingness to adapt to changing circumstances.
