About the Role

SAP is a leading enterprise software company that enables businesses to run more efficiently and effectively. We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Account Executive to join our team in the Midwest Region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Meet/exceed quarterly targets and annual quota targets for enterprise software sales revenue.
  • Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of sales opportunities, forecasting accurate and feasible pipeline growth.
  • Manage accuracy in forecasting and the information maintained in supporting systems.
  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of SAP's enterprise software solutions and the necessary combinations of solutions for accurate client proposals.
  • Create and deliver client proposals that meet or exceed client expectations.
Business Development
  • Develop a comprehensive business development plan for the Midwest Region, identifying key opportunities and a strategy to deliver them.
  • Effectively execute account planning and follow-up actions to drive business growth.
  • Manage and utilize a virtual account team to penetrate all customer buying centers and identify new sales opportunities.
  • Leverage SAP's events and individual customer-centric events to drive business growth and expand our customer base.
Leadership and Collaboration
  • Demonstrate effective leadership of the sales team by strategizing and communicating with team members regularly.
  • Utilize partners across all spectrums to support business objectives and drive sales growth.
  • Exhibit clarity, accuracy, frequency, and professionalism in all forms of communication.
  • Be responsive and timely to all internal and external customer and partner requests.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in sales of complex enterprise software solutions.
  • Experience selling to large enterprise customers.
  • Proven track record of success in enterprise software sales.
  • Experience in a lead role in a team-selling environment.
  • Demonstrated success with large transactions and lengthy sales campaigns.
Education and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
