Role Overview
As a Lead Product Strategist, you will take ownership of the product backlog, ensuring its contents are well-defined and prioritized effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain clear and actionable user stories.
- Collaborate daily with cross-functional teams to clarify business requirements and eliminate obstacles.
- Communicate consistently to align product strategy with team efforts.
- Align development goals with business priorities, working closely with stakeholders to facilitate execution.
- Monitor product health to ensure long-term viability and efficiency, balancing costs with desired outcomes.
- Analyze feasibility and implications of potential product changes.
- Communicate expected value and any adjustments in deliverables for each iteration based on team capacity.
- Contribute to customer-centric design and usability testing.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (business, computer science, etc.) and a minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience with agile teams, alongside 7 years in business, technology, or consulting.
- Strong ability to convey complex ideas to diverse audiences and educate teams on business vision and impacts of change.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to influence a variety of stakeholders.
- Capable of making swift and informed decisions.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a track record of guiding teams towards effective solutions.
- Familiarity with JIRA, SAFe, and Agile methodologies.
- Experience in the insurance sector is preferred.
- Knowledge of relevant products and portfolio is advantageous.
