About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Activities Assistant to join our team at Sunrise Senior Living. As a key member of our community, you will play a vital role in delivering resident-centered activities and programs that promote engagement, socialization, and overall well-being.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in maintaining a balanced activity program that meets the diverse needs and interests of our residents.
  • Support the development and implementation of activities and programs that promote socialization, cognitive stimulation, and physical activity.
  • Collaborate with the community team to ensure seamless delivery of services and programs.
  • Participate in quality assurance processes to ensure high-quality care and services.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with local businesses, organizations, and schools to support volunteer engagement and community outreach.
Requirements
  • 1 year of experience in senior living communities or a related field.
  • Ability to lead activities and motivate volunteers and team members.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
