Your Responsibilities...

As an organized and detail-oriented professional, you will excel at tackling operational challenges. Your role will involve utilizing your business acumen and professionalism to support a Vice President and an Associate Vice President within the Verizon Value organization.

Your daily tasks will include managing calendars, ensuring effective meeting governance, coordinating activities, ordering supplies, arranging travel, processing expenses, providing technical assistance, and overseeing recognition processes—essentially ensuring the smooth operation of the team.

  • Overseeing and maintaining a senior executive's intricate calendar amidst shifting priorities, while demonstrating sensitivity, including scheduling meetings without prior approval when necessary, and arranging travel accommodations as required.
  • Acting as a gatekeeper, meticulously evaluating all requests to maximize time efficiency.
  • Screening meeting requests and employee inquiries, determining which can be redirected to subordinate directors or other departments.
  • Elevating urgent matters for prompt attention from supervisors.
  • Distributing information with discretion as needed, requiring comprehensive knowledge of the Executive's responsibilities, the business unit, and a general understanding of company policies and operations.
  • Preparing documents, including crafting presentations and correspondence while adhering to Brand Compliance standards.
  • Collaborating with fellow Executive Administrators within the Executive's organization and coordinating with other administrative staff to ensure continuous coverage.
  • Establishing processes for maintaining team records and training other administrative personnel on procedures while protecting confidential information.
  • Organizing and managing office operations, overseeing the provision of supplies, equipment, and services that enable staff to perform effectively.
  • Building relationships and a robust network with internal executive administrative teams, as well as external administrative teams of our partners.
  • Serving as a representative and ambassador to external stakeholders as necessary.
  • Performing additional project-related tasks as assigned.
Your Work Environment...

This position will be based in a hybrid model, with a defined work location that includes both remote work and assigned office days.

Qualifications...
  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience in project management.
  • Background in executive support.
  • Willingness to travel up to approximately 25% of the time.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Web-ex, Google Suite, Microsoft Office, and Slack.
  • Strong ability to foster a positive culture across teams, keeping employees informed and engaged through the coordination of various governance activities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure, while collaborating effectively with internal and external partners.
  • Experience managing multiple high-priority projects while maintaining organization and meeting deadlines.
  • A minimum of three years of administrative experience.
