We are seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant to join our team at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center's Basking Ridge Location. As a key member of our administrative team, you will provide exceptional support to our site leadership and staff, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations and contributing to the delivery of outstanding patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for site inquiries and provide timely responses to staff and leadership
  • Manage all event planning, including Staff Appreciation Week, facility requests, and employee engagement activities
  • Collaborate with HR and other administrative counterparts to coordinate site-specific needs
  • Provide administrative support for site leadership, including calendar management, meeting coordination, and technical support
  • Coordinate and participate in meetings, creating/editing presentations, providing technical support, taking meeting minutes, and following up on action items
  • Work collaboratively with site leadership to meet shared objectives and goals by providing administrative support and participation in site-based projects and initiatives

Requirements:

  • Experienced, upbeat, and able to think critically and function with limited oversight
  • Good decision-making skills, with an understanding of when to escalate situations appropriately
  • Adept at planning and prioritizing work to meet commitments with a keen eye for detail
  • Comfortable using technology and able to troubleshoot technical issues in real-time
  • Proactive and willing to take action and eager to adopt new opportunities and challenges with high energy and passion
  • A critical problem-solver who is resourceful with excellent organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong Outlook calendar management skills and experience in using Microsoft Office (including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams)
  • Outstanding organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work independently under minimal direction
