Sales Director

The Sales Director will lead the day-to-day operations of the Sales department, driving revenue growth and exceeding targets across Broadcast and Digital Platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue goals
- Lead the broadcast/digital sales teams and make decisions regarding hiring, evaluation, promotion, and termination of employees
- Manage inventory and revenue forecasting, as well as recruitment, training, evaluation, and development of sales professionals
- Develop and cultivate client relationships alongside Account Executives
- Prepare budgets and approve budget expenditures, and manage Accounts Receivable
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, or mass communications, or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience
- Minimum three-five years of multiplatform media sales experience
- Working knowledge of the local digital and media advertising landscape, including linear, display, video, programmatic, native, OTT, social, SEO, SEM, email, and emerging digital trends and innovative product solutions
- Fluency in English, excellent communication skills, both oral and written, and a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
- Experience guiding, directing, and motivating personnel, including setting and monitoring performance standards, and establishing long-range objectives and specifying strategies and actions to achieve them
- Ability to identify the developmental needs of others and to coach, mentor, or otherwise help others to improve their knowledge or skills
- Proficiency with computers, telephones, copiers, scanners, and other office equipment, and experience with Wide Orbit Traffic/Media Sales, Matrix, or similar CRM platform, Nielsen/comScore measurement, and Google Analytics
