Job Summary

The Sales and Marketing Manager will be responsible for conducting the day-to-day activities of the Sales Department, working closely with the Director of Sales to achieve sales goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to increase revenue and bookings.
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients, hotels, and suppliers.
  • Assist in developing the sales and marketing plan, including advertising and specialty advertising items.
  • Represent the Convention Center at trade-related functions and conventions.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and developments.

Requirements:

  • Minimum two years' experience in a marketing or sales function, preferably in the Hospitality Industry.
  • Associate degree in marketing, business, or related field. Years of experience may be substituted for a degree.
  • Ability to demonstrate an aptitude for developing marketing principles and techniques.
  • Ability to communicate effectively.
  • Computer skills in Microsoft Office, and Ungerboeck experience helpful.
